My thoughts on the subject of drumming:

I perceive musical rhythm as a nonverbal universal form of language that can be perceived and expressed through human senses (sense of hearing, sense of sight, and sense of touch). It starts with a simple hand-clapping rhythm and can be beautifully and playfully developed on drum instruments with dedication, practice, and discipline, even without knowledge of sheet music.​
